Strength, resilience and wisdom is the symbol of the mighty oak.  These pieces invite the wearer to feel the same resilience, and draw similar strengths to the oak trees which have stood proudly guarding our landscapes for hundreds of years. 

My inspiration for these designs is taken from observing the mighty oak, standing tall in its home, wondering what stories it could tell, were it able and how it has battled through many seasons with all conditions thrust upon it, year after year.

These pieces have been cast directly from the historic Ketts Oak in Norfolk which has stood proudly for well over 500 years.

We too, just like the ancient oak tree, weather all seasons as we become mighty in our own lives, learning lessons and becoming wiser in the process. It is this notion I remind myself of when making and wearing these pieces, noting how far I have come and, also, how much further I can grow.
